1. Disconnect Facebook or Instagram
- Sign in to the Zyan workspace that owns the connected account.
- Open Content Center → Accounts.
- Select the Facebook Page or Instagram account and choose Disconnect.
- Confirm the removal.
Disconnecting stops new synchronization and removes Zyan’s stored account credential. You can also revoke Zyan from Meta’s Facebook Settings under Business Integrations or Apps and Websites. Revocation at Meta prevents future API access even if you cannot access the Zyan workspace.
2. Request deletion from Zyan
- Email team@zyan.ai from the address associated with your Zyan account.
- Use the subject “Data deletion request.”
- Include your full name and workspace name. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
- State whether you want a connected-platform deletion or complete account deletion.
If a workspace owner controls the records, we may ask that owner to confirm the request or may limit deletion where the organization must retain shared business records. We may ask for additional information solely to verify identity and authority.
3. What happens next
We will acknowledge a verified request and delete or de-identify eligible personal data from production systems within 30 days. This includes stored integration credentials and eligible Meta-derived account, messaging, comment, lead, campaign, and analytics data associated with the request. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Encrypted backups age out according to our backup-retention schedule.
Deleting information from Zyan does not delete information held independently by Meta or another provider. Use that provider’s account controls for its copy. For more detail, review our Privacy Policy.
