Does the SEO assistant change a client’s site on its own?
No. It reads the Command Center, the saved research and the open work, then proposes changes on cards you approve: article topics, tracked keywords, strategy edits and fix statuses. Approving a topic queues it on the client’s content pipeline, and its draft follows that pipeline’s review setting. New paid research runs against the site’s monthly research budget.
Does Zyan edit my client’s site without asking?
Your project’s automation and publishing settings control what can run. Manual Review prepares work for review; enabled automatic publication can publish eligible changes after the required checks. An active strategy, a connected repository, and a ready runner are required for the relevant execution lanes. Review the proposed change and the project’s settings before enabling automation.
Where does keyword and ranking data come from?
DataForSEO supplies market research, competitor comparisons, backlink data, and tracked SERP snapshots. Your connected Search Console and GA4 properties supply search performance and website analytics. Research is subject to the project’s budget and available credits; a blank research budget pauses paid SEO research.
Can clients see their Map Pack rankings?
Yes, once you switch on Client visible for the website. The map then appears on the Local tab of the client portal and in SEO reports opened online; copies already emailed or downloaded keep the map they were sent with. Scans read Google Maps results at each grid point through DataForSEO, on the cadence you set and within the website’s Map Pack budget.
How do fixes reach the site?
Changes reach the connected GitHub repository through the project’s publication path, then its hosting deployment. Work requiring review can open a pull request; eligible enabled paths publish directly. Agent-applied fixes require a connected, available Zyan desktop runner. A created commit or pull request is separate from a verified live change.
Can I undo a change?
The project’s change history records the change and its publication status. Supported applied fixes expose a revert action; a merged pull request can also be reversed through GitHub. A reversal creates its own commit and must deploy before it is live.
Are Autoblog and reports enabled automatically?
No. Create and enable a content schedule separately; turning on project automation does not create an Autoblog schedule. Reports have Off, Draft, and Auto modes. Draft waits for delivery review; Auto attaches to the client portal and notifies the client when delivery QA passes. Both depend on the project’s configuration and readiness.
